Tomoki, a high school student, decides to leave his childhood friend Takaya. However, Takaya seems to be more attached to Tomoki than ever!
Tomoki, who is plain and unimpressive, is childhood friends with Takaya, who is popular and highly skilled. They do everything together and are close, but they are often compared to each other, which makes Tomoki feel inferior. When he goes to high school, he decides to leave Takaya and tries his best to make other friends. However, for some reason, Takaya keeps getting in the way.
