One of my all time fav mangas. Absolute food for heart. This story hits such a personal chord in me (I’ve read ahead) and made me break down. The story may make you feel sad but I’d say it inspires growth and optimism more. If you have autism or are neurodivergent, you may find comfort in reading this. I’d like to emphasise these aren’t just characters who are coded to have autism, and it isn’t some kind of throw away trait to give character, this story is explicitly and transparently about characters with autism which allows it to directly platform different discussion and perspectives on it. I rlly value this kind of representation it rlly does make me feel seen

You’ll deffo enjoy this. I promise
This manga just reminds me of my self so much, I freaking cry every time I reread those first few chapter. I see myself so much in uno (my boy, my king)
- This story is such a gift, it so accurately depicts different feeling of confusion and overstimulation and feeling dumb and stupid - but it inspires so much hope and love. Kobayashi’s self deprication reminds me so much of my own.
- I read this in a very dark time in my life and it rlly helped me get out of it. It means so much to me and I just know it may mean something to you. Characters are just so real and so great
Ps : even if you don’t have autism or arent neurodivergent, this story can still reasonate with you. If you’ve ever felt left behind or inadequate, struggled with self deprication, or anxiety, or communicating your thoughts and feeling towards others you will find yourself in this story - and this story will inspire hope in you (hopefully)
And even if you don’t identify with any of that, this story will at the very least give you the greater perspective of things other people are going through. It might help you understand these topics more and gain awareness so that you may extend your hand and help others or at the very least extend your sympathy towards them.
This story means so much to me and I rlly hope u give it a chance
